About Clean Tank Technologies

Knowledge behind the container.

Clean Tank Technologies was established in Yakima, Washington, in 2019 through the acquisition of an existing container business. The company was created to bring greater technical discipline, credibility and accountability to industrial-container reconditioning in the Pacific Northwest.

What Clean Tank does

Products backed by practical experience.

Clean Tank provides new, rebottled and reconditioned IBCs, along with industrial poly drums and applicable inspection, testing and documentation services. The value extends beyond inventory: we help buyers understand the container, its condition, the work performed and the questions that should be resolved before use.

Define the packaging

New, rebottled and reconditioned describe different component histories. Those distinctions should be clear before a buyer compares options.

Understand the application

Contents, compatibility, handling, transportation, lid and valve configuration, condition and documentation can all affect the decision.

Connect work to records

Inspection, testing, identification and documentation are useful when they describe the actual packaging and work performed.

Who we serve

Industrial liquid users across the region.

Clean Tank supports agricultural-chemical, food-production, industrial-chemical and other liquid-bulk users throughout the Pacific Northwest and neighboring markets, including customers in Montana and Canada.

Agriculture

Packaging questions for agricultural chemicals, fertilizers and related liquid products.

Food production

Container history, condition and application distinctions that deserve careful review.

Industrial liquids

New and reused packaging options for chemical, process and other bulk-liquid applications.

A real operating environment

Containers move through defined stages.

The facility photographs are included to show the actual setting in which containers are received, separated, evaluated, processed and staged. They are not stock scenes or customer facilities.

A more thorough IBC process

Separate it. Inspect it. Test it.

During IBC reconditioning, Clean Tank removes the bottle from the cage so both components can be inspected more completely—including areas that cannot be properly evaluated while the IBC remains assembled.

Remove the bottle

Separating the bottle and cage makes the underside of the bottle and the supporting cage pan accessible for inspection.

Inspect both components

The bottle, cage, pallet, lid, valve and related components can be evaluated before the IBC is returned to service.

Test every eligible bottle

Each eligible bottle undergoes pressure-based leakproofness testing, including containers not intended for HAZMAT service.

A separate final-inspection photograph will be added to this sequence when supplied. The current photographs do not represent that final step.

The objective is not to make every used container appear reusable. It is to determine what can appropriately return to service and remove unsuitable packaging or components from the reuse stream. See the IBC life cycle.
